In 1996 the company’s Managing Director, Kay-Annie Reid, a Jamaican national found herself working in the hospitality industry for one the Caribbean's most renowned 5 star hotel chains where she played and integral part in the conception, planning, coordination, design, production, execution and management of all things entertainment, for a worldwide demographic. During her tenure she was awarded a scholarship to study Event Management at the George Washington University in Washington DC, where she gained her certification. She then decided that she would spread her wings and become fully engrossed in her passion of being a full time Wedding Consultant and Special Events professional. She left her Jamaican home and took up a 3 ½ year residency in the Cayman Islands where she was one of the island’s most sought after event planners with the island’s best wedding planning and event management company. Her work has been featured on the Travel Channel’s “Weddings Away” series, as well as in a series of bridal magazines such as “Destination Cayman.” Her corporate clients and brides have had numerous amounts of compliments on the immaculate service she has provided them over the years. With her well rounded experience of over 15 years in the industry working with local, corporate, social and overseas clients, and having worked on all event platforms her reputation preceded her. And so as a continuation of her true love for her profession she decided that she could continue to serve her clients by offering her service in a free lance arena. She moved to Bermuda in 2006 and that was how Kreative Koncepts was born.
